To lock your ride, align your bike in front of the anchor and push it firmly into the anchor. You may need to lift the front wheel slightly by pushing up on the handlebars. You should hear a "click" as the mechanism engages the bike, which should lock into place. You will also see the light at the base of the lock change from BLUE (or ORANGE if you have reserved a lock) to GREEN. If you are able to remove the bike from the tether, it has not docked properly and your ride is not over. You will receive a notification from the Ride On app when your ride is successfully completed.
Do not leave the docking station until you have verified that the light on the tether is GREEN or the bike cannot be removed.
If the tether rejects the bike, you should remove it and try another tether. If the anchor has not turned green but the bike cannot be removed from the anchor, try lifting off the handlebars and pushing forward, after doing so the bike should be correctly anchored.
